The Mission Impossible Activity

Notice how all the clues are things the boys learned how to do before the activity in their "Top Secret" pre-activity packet! An example of clue #2 is below.

http://craftsbyamanda.com/2014/01/scratch-valentine-gift-certificates.html
is the site I used to make my own scratch off for #6. It worked great!

The pre-clue was the picture of the bird for activity #10. I wrote small next to the bird "house". So they had to look in the "birdhouse" for the next clue.
The dynamite and explosives that the scouts have to recover.

***We did this for Family Home Evening too. I just changed the scout stuff to "the family is under attack" and we were searching for the clues to protect the family. We used "The Family: A Proclamation to the World.
Agent Registration and check point. We fingerprinted here and checked ID and passports.

The enemy attacked and the scouts had to shoot all the villains before recovering a clue at the scene. One of the bears was the "sketch artist" and had drawn a picture before the activity of a "witnesses" description of the bad guy. We used that sketch to identify which villain. The clue was hidden behind Captain Hook, who was our bad guy.

Mission Impossible!

Passports & Instructions! For the pre-activity packet.
*** We did this for FHE too. I just changed it to "the family is under attack...recover items essential in preventing the demise of the family." The director was changed to "Director of Eternal Families". We used the clues in the other scout mission impossible activities and geared them towards families. We used "The Family: A Proclamation to the World" as our "essential items" we needed to find. We all had so much fun.

Mission Impossible!

I am excited about this activity! I will post more as I put it together.
This is the pre-activity packet for each boy. It prepares them for the activity and gives them a skill to learn. Included: sticker mustache, ID card on lanyard, passport, mission assignment letter and skill to learn letter.
We are working on Bear and Wolf cub scout requirements and electives. The boys are each receiving a "top secret" packet a week before this activity to learn their skills before scouts. (The skills are things to learn in the scout handbook) Then the day of the activity the clues will be the same codes that the boys learn/ reviewed earlier. Man, that sounds confusing!
For example: The boys who must learn fingerprinting will get the ink and finger cards in their packets to practice before the activity. At the activity they will help finger print all the boys.
Another will be a clue written in american sign language and the boy who had that assignment will help the others decipher the clue at the activity.

Their adorable ID cards.
These are some additional key codes we used that are not in the scout book.

Primary Singing Feud

Primary Singing Feud

To Play:
Divide the primary into 2 teams. Have 2 children come up for their teams. Have a bell in the middle of the table. Ask a question. The first child to buzz the bell gets to try to answer the question first. If they get the #1 answer they go back to their team and try to get the remaining answers; if they do not get the #1 answer the other child has a turn to try to steal and by guessing a more popular answer.
If the team guesses all the answers they get the points; if they get 3 guesses wrong then the other team can steal all the points by guessing an answer on the board.
